Hey everyone, I tried to post this last night but unfortunately my internet connection stinks and I had to share it with my three-year-old so she could watch Arthur... Her mom said so. Ha. Anyway, here are some updated screenshots for Poke My Gummy and Gummy Pop Free.

So Sick of Ads

Hello everyone, for the past few weeks I have been working almost non-stop on advertising. I am getting so sick of it. I never thought about how much work has to go into simple ads such as banners or interstitials. In some respects, it really isn't that much work at all, but then in others it's a ton. Sure, you could just slap in a crappy banner ad from some low key ad network and not make any money, but if you want your ads to look good AND generate revenue, then there is, potentially, quite a bit of work involved. First off, you have to try and figure out which ad networks are the best. I found a really good article by Android Police that really helped me out with that. Android Police top 10 ad networks. Then, you have to narrow that list down to which ones are feasible options for your apps/users. At that point, you're just getting started. After that, you SHOULD set up AdMob using several DIFFERENT ad networks. Even still, there is a lot more work on top of that, I will just leave it at that... Anyway, that's where I've been for the past couple weeks which is why I haven't been posting that much but we just released a new game. I will post it in a new post right now.

SlideME Banned Me

Oh, yea. By the way everyone, just thought I'd let you know that the SlideME marketplace banned me. What a frustrating experience. Support my apps and get them off, literally, any other market. I can't believe the trouble I went through with SlideME and I've had no problems with distributors such as: Google, Amazon, AndAppstore, MobiReach, Barnes & Noble, AppBrain, PlayAndroid, AndroidFreeware, Samsung, LG SmartWorld, Verizon, Aproov, Mobango, Appia, CNET, SourceForge, etc. Never had any major problems with any of these distributors but yet I get banned from SlideME over some trivial B.S.? Seriously!? I won't even use the language I have for that company on this blog. I spend a tremendous amount of time on those apps and it took me a HUGE amount of time just to make all my apps compatible with SlideME's marketplace and upload them to their site. Some of them WERE live until they banned me. They're reasoning was ridiculous. I'm not going to go into to much detail as this blog is directed towards a, mostly, young audience interested in gummy bear android games. :) Anyway, I assure I am working very hard to bring you more apps and higher quality ones too. I know all of my apps are far better than a majority of the apps on SlideME so forget them. If you want to find free apps check out http://androidfreeware.net or http://andapponline.com. Also, if you have the Opera browser on your phone or tab, you can go to the Opera Market on the speed-dial page. That's a great market as well. We are, and always will be, on the Google Play Store, as well.

I am also working on creating more places to download my games free. For instance, SourceForge is also a really great site to share my apps and even my code! There are others as well. I have a page on 4shared but it's not very complete yet, so I will post that later. And, of course, you can always check out our websites which are linked to in the tabs on this page. However, those websites are still under construction as well. On the other hand, they do have some great content already as far as free Android games goes.
